In 1992 we
got our first Guineapigs.
SOKRATES
och PLATON
They where two
grown up boys.
They where very
nice and cosy.
They lived
together because they where use
to do so since the where babies.
Sokrates
and Platon died 1996.
In 1994 we bought
another one, and this
time
it was a grown
girl whom we named Tina.
She did get
on very well with Sokrates and
Platon.
TINA
She had a
very long and furry coat.
We had to comb
her very often
to keep her coat
clean and goodlooking
At this time our
hope was to get some
babies after her. But it didn't
work out that way.
When Sokrates
and Platon died 1996
because of high
age , we bought three
other
females to keep Tina
company.
At the age of 6 , in spring 1997, Tina died.
This three girls
that we now got where named
Brun (Brown) ,
Gra (Grey) and Fifi.
They where
different personalitys all three.
FIFI
She was a cute
tricolored two year
old girl.
Her
favourite candy was cucumber.
She was very sweet
and cosy.
She love to chit chat with
us, in
her own
way, and she loved attention !
BRUN
(BROWN)
She was Fifi's
opposite.
She was a brown
three year old girl
who
wasn't
fond of company. But she loved
to
stay under
our sweatshirt when we
for example
was watching TV.
There she
could stay for a long time if
she had a
chance.
Brun was 6 years
when she died in spring 1999.
GRÅ
(GREY)
Was
a Guineapig grey with a
white stripe over her back.
She was only 6 months old when we bought her.
She was very
careful and shy when she
arrived to
us. She didn't trust
people at all.
She always try
to hide when we want to
pick her up. But after a
while she get used to us
and allowed us
to hold her and pet her.
MARKUS
Markus was a
goldenbrown boy with red eyes.
He was 4 year
old when we bought him.
He was a very
cosy boy and love when we pet
him behind his
ears.
Our oldest
girl,
Brun, did never accept
him as a member of the group.
She always try
to bite him and hunt him
whenever they where together.
She was very mean to
him.
And so was her
daughter. She probably have
learned from her mother
how to deal with guys.
And there where
never any cute Guineapig babies.
We had to
separate them from Markus
forever.
In
the age of 5 years Markus died.
FINDUS
He was
tricoloured and a very nice guy.
In Autumn
1998 we took care of Findus.
In the Autumn in
1999 our sweet girl Fifi died.
Our youngest
Guinea Pig girl Gra
become very
happy to get company.
Findus was
a very nice and cosy guy,
who just
love to hide under our sweatshirts or
Tshirt.
He loved carrots and salat.
Findus and
Gr
was happy together almost everytime,
but unfortually
Findus want to mate Gra rather
often, and she didn't
like it at all.
Therefor we had to
let them separate sometimes during the time.
But most of the time they were very happy
together.
There didn't
become any babies since Findus was castrated.
In the summer 2000 Findus
died because he
catches a cold.
He was
only 4 years old.
Grå became
alone again.
She died
in autumn 2000.
Maybe because
she missed Findus.
