OUR GUINEAPIG
Grå (Grey)
Grå was a grey shorthaired
Guineapig with
a white stripe over her back.
She was borned in 1996 and
only 6 months old
when we bought her together
with
her Mother Brun (Brown in
English).
Grey
was very careful and shy when she
arrived to us. She
didn't trust people at all.
She always try to hide
if You want to
pick her up. But
after a while she get used to us
and allowed us to hold her and
pet her.
When our daughter Viveka lost
her beloved Guineapig Tina,
we decide to let her take care
of Grå instead.
Since then Grå has become more
and more cosy to people.
Maybe because Viveka took her
up many times a day
and pet her and careful
carried around Grå.
Grå was now a very funny
Guineapig.
Everytime (and I meen
everytime) anyone in the family
opened the refrigerator door,
Grå let us know loud and
clearly that
she also want something to
eat, and she want it now.
Viveka also tried to make Grå
feel comfortable in a harness,
so that she could take her
with her outdoors.
But Grå never did accept the
harness.
When Brun, the mother of Grå
died,
Findus was the Guineapig that
Grå turned to.
Grå died in 2000, only 4 years
old.
Maybe because she missed
Findus whom she loved a lot.
